10th Anniversary of the Wound Clinic

 

To commemorate the 10th Anniversary of the Wound Clinic, on March 2 at 10 AM, the monthly Clinic was held on a downtown street of Tijuana. Starting at 3pm, we met at the Casa del Centro to eat, mingle and watch the documentary "A Moment of Compassion" by Brenda Goodman. We also shared experiences and memorable moments that the Clinic and the street have given us throughout these 10 years, not without remembering the homeless patients, who unfortunately are no longer with us. We recognized ourselves as a community made up of doctors and volunteers of diverse training and origins, gathered around the idea that all humans deserve dignified treatment and access to health, regardless of economic situation, ideology, gender, nationality, race, and whether or not we use substances. A community with which we have learned and shared a lot over the course of a decade, and hope to continue to do so. 

 

 

First Aid Dialogue

 

We are pleased to invite you to our Health and Self-care Circle of Liberation Medicine.The upcoming dialogue centers around First Aid, we are happy to have Tamira Cahana, nurse and activist, as well as doctor Patty Gonzalez, joining us for this event.
